In case you missed it, Nicole Sullivan guest starred in last week's episode of Monk (this was the season three season finale, "Mr. Monk And The Kid"). She played "Janet Novak" in this episode. I will have clips of this episode very soon. (Added March 6, 2005)
I just added a video clip of episode 2 of Clone High. (Added August 8, 2004)
Nicole Sullivan will appear on Hollywood Squares during the week of August 1st (August 2 through 6 in most markets). Check your listings for local air time/date. (Added July 25, 2004)
Since many of the postings on the message board have been (a) ads for Viagra, (b) ads for pornography, (c) obscene, or (d) stupid, I have no alternative but to establish a new message board, one which requires registration. Here is the URL of the new message board. (Added July 25, 2004)
I have added a video clip of episode one of Clone High. Nicole Sullivan provides the voice of Joan of Arc. I compressed the video and made the picture smaller, so it's not the highest quality video, but if you want higher resolution on the video, I'm sure it's probably available somewhere on the Internet. (Added July 25, 2004)
According to The Futon Critic, the latest Nicole Sullivan pilot, We Are Family, is "below the radar" at ABC; therefore, there is not much of a chance it will be picked up for the fall, but apparently, a final decision has not yet been made. (Added June 13, 2004)
I added a video clip of the season six finale for The King Of Queens. Nicole Sullivan was heavily featured in this episode. (Added June 13, 2004)
Production has begun on a pilot for a new show called We Are Family, a sitcom about a man (Tom Everett Scott) and his estranged father, both of whom have babies at the same time. Nicole Sullivan and Missi Pyle round out the cast. Thanks to an astute Nicole Sullivan fan for drawing my attention to this. (Added March 22, 2004)
I have posted a video clip of Nicole Sullivan's recent appearance on The Sharon Osbourne Show. Be warned, though: the show is quite awful. (Added March 8, 2004)
As you can probably tell by the updated schedule, March 2 is a day for wall-to-wall Nicole Sullivan. First we get her guest appearance on The Sharon Osbourne Show - a show that's spiraling towards cancellation, to be sure, but it should be interesting nonetheless. Then we get a rebroadcast of Bar Hopping on Showtime (if you've never seen it before, try to catch it, but be warned: it's quite awful). Moving right along, she's on Crank Yankers at 10:30 PM on Comedy Central. In between, we get reruns of her appearances on Mad TV, not to mention King Of Queens in certain cities. Get your VCRs (or TiVos or DVD recorders) ready. (Added February 29, 2004)
I have added a page to this website documenting Nicole Sullivan's appearance on the Celebrity Poker Showdown finals. (Added February 16, 2004)

Nicole Sullivan will NOT be on Hope And Faith this Friday (thanks to an astute fan for noting this error. She will be on Celebrity Poker Showdown this coming Tuesday, however. (Added January 8, 2004)

In case you haven't heard, CBS recently unveiled its schedule for the 2003-04 season, and Nicole Sullivan's latest pilot was nowhere to be found. Therefore, it doesn't look like CBS will exercise its option on this project. (Added May 25, 2003)

Nicole Sullivan's newest pilot will be taping soon. The pilot, which is apparently a King Of Queens spinoff, will be taping at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA on Tuesday, April 15 at 7:00 PM. The still untitled show will also feature Kate Walsh (probably best known as "Nikki Fifer" from The Drew Carey Show), Eddie McClintock, Thomas Ian Nicholas, and John Ducey (formerly of Oh Grow Up). Tickets can be ordered from the Audiences Unlimited website. Anyone who plans to attend the taping of this pilot and is willing to write a review for this website should email me. You will be duly credited. (Added April 8, 2003)
This is probably old news to some of you by now, but as of March 10, 2003, MTV has put Clone High on hiatus. No news on whether or not the show will return to MTV's schedule. There remain five episodes from the show's first season which were unaired by MTV. (Added April 4, 2003)

I added a page documenting Nicole Sullivan's appearance on Less Than Perfect. She appeared on the show on February 11. (Added March 5, 2003)
January 31 marks the five-year anniversary of this website, and I want to thank everyone who has helped make this website a success. Our current Alexa ranking is 959,677 - not great, but not bad for a site with no budget that relies entirely on word-of-mouth. This well-deserved shout-out goes to the fans. I also offer special thanks to those fans, classmates and friends who took time out to e-mail me. (Added January 30, 2003)
I added another clip from King Of Queens. This one's from October 2002. (Added January 29, 2003)
I've added a page covering Nicole Sullivan's work on Clone High (Nicole Sullivan is the voice of Joan of Arc). First up: a review of the first episode. (Added January 22, 2003)
An online petition has been formed to get Mad TV released on DVD. If you want Mad TV to be released on DVD and you think this will help, check it out. If you don't want it released on DVD or don't care, but still have some level of curiosity about it, check it out anyway. (Added January 17, 2003)
Every so often a fan-based website emerges that is leaps and bounds ahead of anything offered on "official" TV show websites. Over the last few months, I stumbled onto The Mad TV Forum and it seems to be emerging as one of the premier Mad TV fan forums. [The only comparable forum that comes to mind is the Usenet newsgroup alt.tv.mad-tv and it doesn't have separate message boards.] Nicole Sullivan is no longer in the cast, but the discussions often cover ex-cast members (including Nicole Sullivan). (Added January 17, 2003)
I added another movie clip. This one is from a short-lived TV series on which Nicole Sullivan had a supporting role called Talk To Me (more info). This clip is from the beginning of the first episode. (Added January 14, 2003)
Clone High, a new animated series, is set to premiere on January 20th on MTV at 10:30 PM EST. Nicole Sullivan provides the voice of Joan Of Arc. The episode will rerun several times during the week. See "Upcoming Nicole Sullivan TV Appearances At A Glance" on this page for further information. (Added January 14, 2003)
I added yet another Nicole Sullivan clip from King Of Queens. This time it's from the episode which originally aired on October 7, 2002. (Added January 10, 2003)
Shark bite (from jumptheshark.com): King Of Queens jumped the shark "[w]hen gorgeous Nicole Sullivan (Dog [sic] walking girl) developed a crush on Deacon (as IF!)." (Added December 25, 2002)
I recently updated my King Of Queens page with information about the shows and two new video clips (clip1 clip2) (Added December 25, 2002)
The following news was reported in Variety recently: CBS may give Nicole Sullivan her own King Of Queens her own spinoff. The new series would have her marrying a man with three brothers who quickly become part of her extended family. Susan Dickes (Just Shoot Me) will write the pilot, with Sullivan set to star and produce. The project is under consideration for fall 2003. Also check out an interview with Ms. Sullivan posted on knoxnews.com in October 2002. (Added December 25, 2002)
This website continues to grow. I just added a page documenting Nicole Sullivan's work on the animated series Kim Possible. There isn't much information there yet, but it's a work-in-progress. (Added November 24, 2002)
This isn't really a Nicole Sullivan update, but I was looking through the TV Guide listings and if you need further proof that The King Of Queens takes place in a alternate-universe New York City, we get the following listing for the November 18th show: Carrie wins four tickets to several Knicks games [1-6 as of this writing], but she and Doug disagree over which couple to take along with them. [Maybe it's not such a reach, though, because the Knicks are still a better draw than the Nets.] (Added November 12, 2002)
Apparently Kim Possible is now part of ABC's Saturday morning lineup. The first episode, to be aired on November 9, 2002, is "Kim Possible Bueno Nacho," an episode that already appeared on The Disney Channel. Nicole Sullivan is the voice of Sheego in this animated series. (Added November 5, 2002)
Nicole Sullivan will be appearing on Hollywood Squares (again) the week of November 10 (in most markets, these episodes will air November 11-15). The official Hollywood Squares website even has a mini bio of Ms. Sullivan. While it doesn't mention anything that would be particularly edifying to most Nicole Sullivan fans, it's worth a look. (Added November 5, 2002)
I posted a brief synopsis on Nicole Sullivan's recent appearance on (the new) Hollywood Squares. I also posted two brief video clips from two different shows: clip 1 clip 2 (Added September 21, 2002)
According to TV Guide, the new animated series Clone High will debut on October 16, 2002 on MTV. Nicole Sullivan provides the voice of Joan of Arc. (added September 21, 2002)
Nicole Sullivan will be appearing as a panelist on the new Hollywood Squares (the Henry Winkler-produced version) during the week of September 15th (the episodes air September 16-20 in most markets). Also, don't forget to watch Nicole Sullivan in the season premiere of The King of Queens on September 23, 2002 (she is now a series regular). (Added September 15, 2002)
I posted a brief synopsis of Nicole Sullivan's July 2001 appearances on Hollywood Squares (along with two brief video clips: clip 1 clip 2). (Added September 8, 2002)
As you may have already known, Nicole Sullivan has joined the cast of King of Queens as a series regular. You can read all about it at zap2it.com. (Added August 29, 2002)
I recently screened Bar Hopping, a direct-to-cable film in which Nicole Sullivan starred. A review of the film has been added to this website. (Added June 20, 2002)
I have begun compiling a FAQ about this website. I will be adding more in the days and weeks ahead, but hopefully this first draft will clarify a few issues. (Added June 10, 2002)
ABC announced its fall schedule today, and apparently Dexter Prep, a sitcom pilot in which Nicole Sullivan had a supporting role, is not on the fall schedule. No news on whether the original pilot will air or whether the show will appear at a later date. (Added May 14, 2002)
Yesterday was Nicole Sullivan's birthday, so on behalf of this web site, happy birthday Nicole Sullivan. Many happy returns. (Added April 22, 2002)
Today (January 31) marks the four-year anniversary
of The Unofficial Nicole Sullivan Tribute Page.
I couldn't find the original Usenet announcement
I made when I first put the site online, but I
found (in the Google archive)
an early posting predating the birth of the website
(when I was still compiling information for the site -
I still haven't finished). Here's
another early plug for the site, again from
alt.tv.mad-tv.
And here's a brief chronology of significant dates in
the history of this website:
(Added January 31, 2002)
Nicole Sullivan has been cast in Clone High, a new MTV animated series about a group of high school students who are cloned with the DNA of historical personages like Abraham Lincoln and Mahatma Ghandhi. Nicole Sullivan will provide the voice of Joan of Arc. (Added January 24, 2002)
Nicole Sullivan will be providing the voice of one of the characters in an upcoming Disney animated series called Kim Possible. She will provide the voice of the evil Sheego in the series, which is set to premiere on the Disney Channel in June 2002. (Added January 15, 2002)
News of the world: The first site update in a while, including a brand-new page documenting Nicole Sullivan's guest appearances on The King Of Queens. Her second appearance as Holly, by the way, will be rerun on New Year's Eve. I have also updated the pictures page and the filmography. It also appears that The Cartoon Network has started to re-broadcast episodes of Baby Blues, the animated series in which Nicole Sullivan provided the voice of Bizzy, the teenage babysitter. Presumably this run will include the second season of Baby Blues, which was never aired by the WB. The first episode airs on January 6, 2002 at 10:30 PM EST. (Added December 31, 2001)
I found out that apparently Webjump no longer exists, so all the links to movie and sound clips on Webjump are broken. I uploaded all the clips to this site and updated the links. (Added October 10, 2001)
I updated the "Upcoming Nicole Sullivan Television Appearance at a Glance" section of this page. The King of Queens episode in which Nicole Sullivan's recurring character is introduced was to air on September 17th, but has been rescheduled for September 24th. (Added September 16, 2001)
Last Thursday marked another milestone in Nicole Sullivan's career. I was watching Mad TV on TNN. When the show broke for a commercial, I channel-surfed - to VH1, which was airing a rerun of the made-for-TV movie The Way She Moves, in which Nicole Sullivan has a supporting role. As far as I know, this marks the first time in which Nicole Sullivan appeared simultaneously on two channels (although both programs were reruns). As someone who started this website in the days when one had to scour the listings for Nicole Sullivan television appearances other than Mad TV (I was elated when every now and then I came across one of her guest appearances on such shows as Party of Five or Diagnosis Murder), I fully appreciate the significance of this (albeit minor) milestone. (Added September 1, 2001)
The WB recently confirmed its decision to shelf the entire thirteen-episode second season of Baby Blues, in addition to six unaired episodes from the first season - even though all nineteen episodes of the series have been produced and paid for, at a cost of more than $15 million. The show generated decent ratings during its brief run in the summer of 2000, and the WB ordered an additional thirteen episodes, looking for backup programming in the event of a writers' strike. But the writers' strike failed, and when other attempts at launching animated series failed, Baby Blues became an orphan which no longer fit into the network's strategic plans. You can read about it at zap2it.com. (Added September 1, 2001)
I have made some additions to this web site, including a new page devoted to Nicole Sullivan's August 3rd appearance on The Tonight Show. It should also be noted that Mad TV is now in reruns on TNN (The National Network). Half-hour episodes air at 7:00 PM, and 7:30 PM. The half-hour episodes are edited highlights of the original one-hour shows. The repeats also air in unedited format on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 11:00 PM. The network is currently in the middle of season one reruns, so here's your chance. See Orlando Jones before he was the 7-Up pitchman! See Artie Lange before he was Norm McDonald's sidekick! See Nicole Sullivan before...well, see Nicole Sullivan! (Added August 11, 2001)
Nicole Sullivan appeared on The Tonight Show on August 3, 2001. She discussed, inter alia, the fact that she is returning to Mad TV for a seventh season - contrary to what has been reported on this website regarding her future with the show - but in a "part time" capacity (presumably as a recurring guest). She also discussed her future projects, including a role on King of Queens and a new VH1 movie to air later this month. More information on this appearance will be posted soon. (Added August 5, 2001)
Nicole Sullivan will be a guest on The Tonight Show tonight. The program airs at approximately 11:30 PM EDT on most NBC affiliates. Apologies for not tracking this down earlier; the web site did not provide much advance notice. (Added August 3, 2001)
The cast lineup for season seven of Mad TV has been announced, and, as expected, Nicole Sullivan is no longer in the cast. The season seven cast is: Alex Borstein, Mo Collins, Andrew Daly, Taran Killam, Bobby Lee, Michael McDonald, Will Sasso, Aries Spears, Stephanie Weir and Debra Wilson. (Added July 24, 2001)
According to The Futon Critic, the WB has parted ways with all its animated fare. Presumably, this includes Baby Blues, even though several new episodes were ordered. Therefore, Baby Blues has effectively been cancelled, in spite of a strong showing in a late summer run on the WB last year (and in spite of an initial statement from the WB stating that the show would be back for a second season). No information to confirm the show's cancellation could be found on the official Baby Blues website. (Added June 25, 2001)
Me and My Needs is listed on the zap2it.com website as "not picked up" for ABC's fall season (the e-zine also gave the show the dubious distinction of having the best title). Whether or not this means there is no possibility of the show surfacing as a midseason replacement (or in a future season) is unclear. (Added June 3, 2001)
I have screened the episode of The Test in which Nicole Sullivan appeared; more information can be found on my Nicole Sullivan on The Test page. (Added June 3, 2001)
Me and My Needs is not on ABC's fall schedule for the 2001-02 season (the pilot was filmed last March and ABC may or may not decide to turn it into a regular series); nonetheless, it appears all but certain that Nicole Sullivan will be leaving Mad TV at the end of the current season. (Added May 14, 2001)
Avid fans of this website may have noticed that this site has not been updated in a few days; I have been blocked from FTP-ing to this site while the company which provides webhosting for nic0lesullivan.org moved everything to a new server. As of today, I have posted a review of last Saturday's episode and I also fixed the message board. I also screened Nicole Sullivan's May 2nd appearance on the FX show Test and will have more information on this appearance soon. As the major networks prepare to announce their fall schedules, it's beginning to look like Nicole Sullivan won't be back for a seventh season of Mad TV, although it's still not clear whether Me and My Needs is on ABC's fall schedule (it is scheduled to be announced on May 15th). (Added May 8, 2001)
Nicole Sullivan will be appearing on the talk show Test on FX on May 2, 2001. Air time is 11:00 PM EDT. (Added April 30, 2001)
If anyone has The Movie Channel and wants to tape Bar Hopping for me, please e-mail me to negotiate a trade. (Added April 10, 2001)
I have finally added a message board to this web site. This is one of the Internet's first forum devoted exclusively to Nicole Sullivan. Known bug: for some reason, replies to previous postings show up in Netscape Navigator, but not Microsoft Internet Explorer.(Added March 24, 2001)
If anyone plans to attend the taping of the pilot for Me and My Needs and wants to write a review for this website, please e-mail me. (Added February 25, 2001)
Is Nicole Sullivan leaving Mad TV at the end of season six? That is the claim made in a recent article on the Los Angeles Times website, which states that Ms. Sullivan plans to leave the show at the current season's end for her own ABC sitcom, Me and My Needs. However, rumors about Nicole Sullivan leaving Mad TV are nothing new, and this Nicole Sullivan fan remains skeptical as to whether or not this latest bit of "news" is any better a harbinger of the future than the Lotto numbers placed inside fortune cookies or the Psychic Hotline. A previous article published in the Calgary Sun claimed that Nicole Sullivan was leaving the show at the end of season five (this turned out to be completely untrue), and it even quoted her as saying that she missed being on the show. Another reason to question the verisimilitude of this claim is the fact that it is not clear at this time that ABC has committed to anything more than taping a pilot for Me and My Needs. Even assuming that ABC has already committed to putting this show on its fall schedule, given the low success rate of new shows (only about twenty-five percent of new shows last more than one season), it would seem out of character for her to leave the security of her steady Mad TV gig for the uncertainty of trying to launch a new hit show. Still, I could be wrong and the Los Angeles Times could be right. I'll believe it when I see it. (Added February 25, 2001)
Nicole Sullivan has (again) been singled out for accolades in TV Guide. The February 10, 2001 (U.S.) edition of the magazine features an article called "TV MVPs." Page 25 features a list of "Super Troupers" - actors and actresses on shows with ensemble casts who have come to the forefront "with nuance and invention." The article contains the following blurb on Nicole Sullivan: "She's the Vancome Lady, a mean makeup saleswoman, and Antonia, a catatonic fast-food worker. The comic force behind these wacky originals, Nicole Sullivan, 30, can also spoof teen pop singer Britney Spears. 'Nicole has incredible range,' says Mad TV executive producer Dick Blasucci. 'She's not afraid to do anything.'" (Added February 6, 2001)
I finally screened the Suddenly Susan episode in which Nicole Sullivan guest starred (OAD 11-1-1999) and have added a Nicole Sullivan on Suddenly Susan page to this web site. (Added February 3, 2001)
This site will not be accessible from 9:00 PM EST on January 30th to 2:00 AM EST on January 31st due to a server upgrade. (Added January 30, 2001)
A date, time and place have finally been announced for the taping of the pilot of the Nicole Sullivan sitcom Me and My Needs. The pilot will be taped on Friday, March 2, 2001 at 7:00 PM (PST) at the CBS Studio Center in Los Angeles. For more information (and to order tickets for the show), go to the Audiences Unlimited website. (Added January 28, 2001)
Nicole Sullivan was mentioned (albeit briefly)
in the January 20th issue of TV Guide
(the one with the cast of Survivor 2
on the cover). The magazine's "Cheers and Jeers"
section speaks favorably of a parody of the NBC
show Ed which appeared in a
recent episode of Mad TV. In this parody,
Michael McDonald played "Ed" and Nicole Sullivan played
the woman that is the object of Ed's affection
("...played by the reliably terrific Nicole Sullivan...")
Such a favorable mention of her portrayal is noteworthy,
although it was diminished somewhat by the praise that
was lavished on McDonald. (Added January 18, 2001)
Nicole Sullivan will appear on Talk Soup
on January 16, 2001 on E!. Air times for this
show are 7:30 PM, 1:00 AM (early morning January
17th) and 7:30 AM (also January 17th). This will
mark her seventh appearance as guest host.
(Added Janaury 14, 2001)
Nicole Sullivan appeared on Talk Soup
as a guest host on December 22, 2000. Apologies for
the lack of notice but not only was there no advance
notice of this on the E! website, but the show
now airs at 7:30 PM; my cable provider doesn't
switch over to E! until 8:00 PM. For those
of you that see this in time, however, you can
watch it on Saturday morning (December 23rd)
at 7:30 AM. (Added December 22, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan will appear on VH1's The List
on Friday, December 15 at 12:30 PM EST.
(Added December 11, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan will appear on the Billboard
Music Awards on December 5, 2000 at 8:00 PM
EST on Fox. I have also added a page documenting
Nicole Sullivan's appearance
on Titus. Also the
filmography (TV only) has been updated for the first
time in about 3 months. (Added December 3, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan will host Talk Soup
on November 20, 2000 (apologies for the short
notice). The show airs at 8:00 PM EST on E!. For
a more complete listing of upcoming Nicole Sullivan
TV appearances, see "Upcoming Nicole Sullivan TV
Appearances at a Glance" on the left side of this
page. (Added November 20, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan is slated to star in a new
sitcom being developed by Touchstone Television
for ABC for the 2001-02 season. The show is called
Me and My Needs and will star Ms. Sullivan
as a neurotic thirtysomething woman in New York.
Shooting is scheduled to begin in January.
(Added November 15, 2000)
As you may have noticed, this web site has not
been updated in almost a month (this update is
the first since early October). While I regret
any inconvenience this may have caused to anyone
who relies on this site, it is entirely the
fault of
the company on which I rely for web hosting
capabilities. Not only did the company in
question fail to resolve the technical problem
(which I resolved myself), but my repeated e-mails
requesting that the problem be resolved were
ignored. I have taken measures to ensure that
this will not happen again by switching to
another web hosting company. (Added November
5, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan appeared as guest host (for the
fifth time) on Monday, October 9, 2000. Unfortunately,
E! didn't bother to update the Talk Soup
listings in advance (I checked their web site only
twenty minutes before the show aired, and the
Talk Soup page still listed the guest hosts
from last week); moreover, I was unable to
update this web site with this information due
to technical problems. I did tape the show, however,
and will probably post more information about this
program (once I have screened it) in the near future.
(Added October 11, 2000)
According to the advance TV listings, the new
Buzz Lightyear cartoon makes its
network debut on ABC on October 7th
at 7:30 AM EDT. (Added September 25, 2000)
The new Buzz Lightyear cartoon premieres
in early October, apparently. According to the listings
for the New York metropolitan area, the show debuts
on WWOR (channel 9) at 8:30 AM on October 2, 2000.
Check local listings for station and air time.
(Added September 22, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan is currently listed as a Politically
Incorrect panelist for Friday's show. (Added
September 20, 2000)
In case you missed it, Nicole Sullivan was
not on Politically Incorrect on September
19th, in spite of information I have received from
various sources to the contrary. [She was
listed as a panelist in the ClickTV listings.]
(Added September 19, 2000)
I have undertaken the rather arduous task of
watching the September 2nd episode of The
Cindy Margolis Show so that I could write
a summary of it for this web site. The results
can be found at my
Nicole Sullivan on The Cindy Margolis Show
web page. (Added September 10, 2000)
In case you haven't heard yet, the season premiere
of Mad TV (in the U.S., at least) is
October 7, 2000. Word has it that Nicole Sullivan
is still a cast member, although I haven't
gotten any reports confirming her appearance on the
set of the show. (Added September 6, 2000)
The Britney Spears video parody is now available
in its entirety (the parody of the video, not the
whole segment). The clip is in
Quicktime
4.0 format and is available
here. (Added September 6, 2000)
The WB has announced its fall schedule, and
Baby Blues is not on it. More information
can be found at
the WB's official website. (Added August 29, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan hosted Talk Soup again
on August 24th. Many apologies for not finding
out about this in advance. (Added August 25,
2000)
Nicole Sullivan was featured in
The WB Questionnaire (apparently, every week
a WB celebrity answers a series of questions;
this particular installment featured Ms. Sullivan).
(Added August 12, 2000)
I have added a page documenting
Nicole Sullivan's
recent appearance on The Late Late Show
(hosted by Craig Kilborn). (Added August 6, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan will appear as one of the guests
on the Late Late Show (hosted by Craig
Kilborn) on July 31, 2000 (late night Monday/
early morning Tuesday). This is not in the TV listings
for Monday's show, but I am fairly certain she
is slated for an appearance on the show. (Nevertheless,
there could be last minute changes.) The Late
Show airs at 12:35 AM EDT on most CBS affiliates.
(Added July 30, 2000)
I have added
a page devoted to Nicole Sullivan's newest project,
the animated WB series Baby Blues. It's
been updated with ratings information for the first
two episodes. (Added July 30, 2000)
I have added a page documenting
Nicole
Sullivan's recent appearance on The Tonight
Show. (Added July 22, 2000)
The recent Tonight Show episode in which
Nicole Sullivan appeared will be rebroadcast
on WNBC (channel 4), New York City's NBC affiliate
on July 19th (Tuesday night/Wednesday morning)
at 2:05 AM. I have no idea whether this will
air on other affiliates. Ms. Sullivan appeared for
a second time as the host of E's Talk Soup
last night and I will add a page documenting
this appearance relatively soon.
(Added July 18, 2000)
Is Nicole Sullivan leaving Mad TV? That seems
to be the gist of this
article from the Calgary Sun which appeared in
May. [The title of the article is "She's All Talk...
but Nicole Sullivan misses being Mad."] It's been
said that you shouldn't believe everything you read,
and for that reason I will not assume that this is
conclusive proof that Ms. Sullivan is leaving Mad
TV. As far as I know, however, this article represents
the first news from a credible source asserting that
Ms. Sullivan is leaving the show. In all fairness to
the Calgary Sun and Mr. McLeod, however, the article
also claims that Talk To Me would return to
ABC's schedule after May sweeps, which did not happen.
Moreover, by claiming that Sullivan would leave Mad
TV after five seasons (the article also quotes
Sullivan saying that the production company and Fox
let her out of the contract early), the article directly
contradicts
an earlier article printed in the
Schenectady Gazette in which Ms. Sullivan claimed
that she wouldn't leave Mad TV unless
Talk To Me was a hit (it wasn't). [Perhaps she
changed her mind in the interim?] I wouldn't be
entirely surprised if she left the show - five years
is a long time for any job - but I find it a little hard
to believe, especially since she has been introduced
on all her recent TV appearances as "Nicole Sullivan
of Mad TV." Stay tuned for more information...
the one thing that's almost certain is that we haven't seen
the last of Nicole Sullivan.
(Added July 16, 2000)
Another upcoming Nicole Sullivan TV voice-over: Nicole
Sullivan will be one of the guest voices on the July
18th episode of The Family Guy, the Fox
animated series currently airing on Tuesdays. The episode
airs at 9:00 PM EDT/8:00 PM CDT on most Fox affiliates.
(Added July 7, 2000)
The following was reported by
Daily Variety on June 28, 2000: the animated version of
Jerry Scott and Rick Kirkman's
Baby Blues has finally been announced on the WB's
schedule. The frog-net plans to premiere the half-hour comedy
on Friday, July 28 at 8:00 PM with a second episode following
immediately at 8:30 PM. The net plans to air all eight episodes
during a four week summer run, with double-headers every
Friday night. The show has apparently been on WB's agenda for
almost five years and has been held back several times.
(Added July 6, 2000)
I recently came across an interesting article on
beer.com entitled
"Why 'breaking out' is bad to do." The article's
author (Scott Huler) suggests that Nicole Sullivan should
having pretensions towards being more than just a sketch comic;
he cites her roles on Talk to Me and Law
and Order: Special Victims Unit as evidence that
"[i]f you break out, you get to stop doing what you're
great at and start doing something lousy" [he conveniently
ignores the countless number of actors and actresses who
initially were introduced to a mass audience via sketch
comedy shows but who since then have moved on to bigger
and better things]. Also it seems somewhat incongruous that someone who
claims to have been "watching the career Nicole Sullivan"
would conclude his article with "[b]efore she was on
'Mad TV.' she briefly played Drew Carey's wife." Most
people who have been watching the career of Nicole
Sullivan would know that The Drew Carey Show
episode in question aired in February 1997; at the time
Nicole Sullivan had been a cast member of Mad TV
for about a year and a half. [In fact, the pilot episode
of Drew Carey aired only a few weeks before the
pilot episode of Mad TV.] But whether or not
you agree with the author's analysis, this article should
provide some food for thought. (Added July 4, 2000)
Apart from the Tonight Show appearance, there
are two other upcoming Nicole Sullivan television
appearances: (1) a rerun of "Private Lives," the
Party of Five episode in which Nicole Sullivan
appeared in 1994 (July 4, 2000 at 1:30 AM EDT on Lifetime),
and (2) a rerun of "The Pajama Game," the second of two
appearances she made as "Debbie" on Fired Up
(July 10, 2000 at 8:00 AM EDT on the USA Network - note
the time slot change). (Added June 30, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan will appear on The Tonight Show
(hosted by Jay Leno) on July 11, 2000. The first guest
will be Richard Simmons and the musical guest will be
Billy Gilman. This will be her first appearance on the
show in almost two years. Check local listings for air
time (in New York City, the show will air at 11:35 PM
EDT on WNBC channel 4). (Added June 28, 2000)
I have added a page documenting
Nicole
Sullivan's recent appearance on Politically
Incorrect. (Added June 26, 2000)
Upcoming Nicole Sullivan television appearance:
Nicole Sullivan will appear on Fired Up,
now airing in reruns on the USA Network at 10:30 AM
EDT on June 28, 2000. [Episode 207, "The Baby-Sitter's
Club"] (Added June 21, 2000)
I have added a page documenting
Nicole Sullivan's theater appearances. (Added
June 12, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan apparently appeared on Poliically
Incorrect on June 6, 2000 (actually, early
morning June 7). Many apologies for not catching
this one. Also thanks to the several persons who e-mailed
me with this information (your efforts were ineffectual
only becuase I went to bed before the messages were sent;
I am writing this at 4:30 AM local time).
I will have more information on this latest Nicole
Sullivan television appearance in the near future. I
will also have information on Nicole Sullivan's
appearance on the May 19, 2000 installment of The
Edge with Paula Zahn (she appeared along with
Michael McDonald and Mo Collins) very soon. (Added
June 7, 2000)
I finally added a search engine to this site.
Now, the entire site (including the review archive)
can be search via the form at the bottom of this
page. It's a bit slow, but it should make life
somewhat easier. (Added June 3, 2000)
Sadly, Cece the cat has died. He was killed by
a coyote while Ms. Sullivan was in England.
(Many apologies for the lateness of this update.)
You can read all about it in this
article from
the Schenectady Gazette (the article originally
appeared in the April 11, 2000 edition). (Added
May 25, 2000)
Another upcoming Nicole Sullivan TV appearance: the
USA Network will rerun "The Baby-Sitter's Club,"
the first of two Fired Up episodes in which
Nicole Sullivan appeared, on May 23, 2000 at 10:30 AM
EDT. (Added May 16, 2000)
Also note that Baby Blues is scheduled
to debut on the WB this summer. Nicole Sullivan provides
the voice of Bizzy, the MacPherson's airheaded baby-sitter.
One episode teams her up with a boyfriend voiced by
Dan Cortese (Veronica's Closet). Other voices
will be provided by Phil LaMarr, Drew Carey, Steven
Weber, E.G. Daily and Diedrich Bader amongst others.
The show has been described to me by one of the
production assistants as "a more cerebral, less vulgar
version of The Simpsons." I will post more
information on this show as it becomes available.
(Added May 16, 2000)
I've added a page documenting
Nicole Sullivan's recent appearance on Law
and Order: Special Victims Unit to this
site, complete with a video clip. (Added
May 11, 2000)
Finally, I added some more material to this site!
Specifically, I added a page documenting
Nicole
Sullivan's April 26th appearance on The
Late Show and a page documenting
Nicole Sullivan's
August 2, 1999 appearance on The Late Late Show
(and it's about time, too). (Added
May 7, 2000)
By now, you've probably heard that Nicole Sullivan
apppeared on a recent (OAD: April 28, 2000) episode
of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit (the
Law and Order spinoff series) as a rape
victim on a subway. This episode will be rerun on
the USA Network on Sunday, May 7 at 11:00 PM EDT.
(Added May 4, 2000)
Talk to Me has been pulled from ABC's
schedule, but according to Variety,
the last two episodes may air during the summer.
See
this article for further details. (Added
May 2, 2000)
Yet another update: apparently, the Talk to
Me episode listed in TV Guide for
May 2nd will not air after all; instead, a rerun
of The Drew Carey Show will air in its
place. (Added May 1, 2000)
By now, you may have heard that Talk to Me
has been pulled from the ABC lineup in favor of
Sports Night. The last episode of Talk
to Me will be broadcast on Tuesday, May 2, 2000;
thus, four of the five episodes produced will have been
aired. ABC will air a two-episode season finale of
Sports Night in place of Talk to Me
on May 9 and May 16 (only one episode of Talk To Me
will air during May sweeps). Although ABC has not
yet made an official announcement on the future of
Talk to Me, it seems highly unlikely that the
show will be on ABC's fall schedule. (Added
April 28, 2000)
I (finally) have added a page documenting Nicole
Sullivan's November 1998 appearance on World's
Greatest Magic V. You can find out more about
this appearance on my
Nicole Sullivan on World's Greatest Magic
page. (Added April 22, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan will appear on The Late Show
(with David Letterman) on Wednesday, April 26,
2000. The first guest will be Dennis Quaid; the
musical guest is The Smashing Pumpkins. The program
airs after the local news on most CBS affiliates (11:30
PM/10:30 PM Central); in New York City, it airs at 11:35
PM on channel 2. (Added April 21, 2000)
Talk to Me slipped in its second outing (April 18th) to
a 7.1 rating with an 11 share, finishing third
in its time slot behind NBC's Just Shoot Me
and CBS's 60 Minutes II. More information
on Tuesday's ratings can be found at
the UltimateTV web site and my
Talk to Me web page. (Added April 19, 2000)
Here's a listing of some upcoming Nicole Sullivan
TV appearances:
This is not necessarily an exhaustive list, and if you
know of any other Nicole Sullivan TV appearances, please
send e-mail to Number Six.
(Added April 15, 2000)
When I started reading the largely negative reviews
for Talk to Me, I didn't expect it to do too
well. But when the dust settled, the series premiere
of this Kyra Sedgwick/Nicole Sullivan vehicle scored
an impressive 9.2 rating with a 14 share, decisively
finishing first in the time slot (CBS's 60 Minutes
II finished second, with an 8.5 rating and a 13 share).
This is a notable improvement over the show's predecessor,
Sports Night (last week, 7.9/12).
I agree with most of the critics that the pilot
episode of Talk to Me
was not very good (although there is little doubt
that Nicole Sullivan is the best thing the show has
going for it), and the show's success had a lot to
do with it's strong lead-ins (Dharma and Greg
aired at 9:00 PM, and the seemingly invincible
Millionaire aired at 8:00 PM). Nonetheless,
this early ratings success can only be a positive sign
for both the show and Ms. Sullivan. More information
about the April 11th ratings can be found at
the UltimateTV web site. (Added April 12, 2000)
I have added
a page to this web site devoted to
Ms. Sullivan's latest sitcom project, Talk to Me.
There isn't much there yet, but I will add to it as
the season progresses; if I can get access to ratings
data for the show, I'll post that, too. (Added
April 8, 2000)
The ABC website has added a section devoted to
Nicole Sullivan's new side project,
Talk to Me. Ms. Sullivan plays
Kat, sister and housemate of the show's main
character, Janey Munro (Kyra Sedgwick).
If memory serves, Kat is a social worker. There
is also
a short biographical blurb which contains nothing of
interest to the die-hard Nicole Sullivan fan, who
would already know that she has appeared on such shows
as Mad TV, The Drew Carey Show and
Party of Five. (Added April 6, 2000)
Talk to Me, a new ABC sitcom starring
Kyra Sedgwick and featuring Nicole Sullivan, will
premiere on April 11 at 9:30 PM EDT. The first
episode is "About Taking it Like a Man" and
also features guest star Gene Simmons. Also, USA
Network will repeat "The Baby Sitter's Club," a
Fired Up episode in which Nicole Sullivan
guest starred, on April 13 at 10:30 AM EDT. (Added
April 4, 2000)
I finally got around to adding
a page documenting Nicole Sullivan's role on Pepper
Ann (along with a
sound clip). I still have to add documentation on
her World's Greatest Magic appearance and an
appearance on Craig Kilborn from last August
that I missed...but it's a start. (Added March 31,
2000)
In case you missed it, the World's Greatest Magic
special in which Nicole Sullivan appeared was
rebroadcast on the Fox Family Channel on March 20, 2000.
Ms. Sullivan appeared in two segments with magician
Mac King (he shows her how to turn a fork into a knife).
I will make a page documenting her appearance on this
show...as soon as I get around to it. (Added
March 21, 2000)
Astute Nicole Sullivan fans may have noted that the
March 11th episode of the Disney animated series
Pepper Ann (which was actually a rebroadcast
of an episode originally aired on September 18, 1999)
featured the voice of Nicole Sullivan (as Tundra Woman).
I have been so busy that I haven't had time to do a
write-up on this appearance, but at least I have had
time (finally) to add a page documenting
Nicole Sullivan's
second appearance on Fired Up.
(Added March 18, 2000)
Fox Family will re-run World's Greatest Magic V,
a special which originally aired on November 25, 1998,
on March 20, 2000 at 9:00 PM. [This was the fifth in a
series of specials which aired the day before
Thanksgiving from 1994 to 1998.] Nicole Sullivan
appears in this program. The USA Network will re-run
"The Pajama Game," the second of two Fired Up
episodes in which Nicole Sullivan appeared, on March
16. (Added March 9, 2000)
The USA Network will re-run "The Baby-Sitter's Club,"
one of two episodes of Fired Up in which
Nicole Sullivan appeared, on March 7, 2000 at 10:30 AM
EST (OAD: 11-10-1997). More information on this episode
is available at my Nicole
Sullivan on Fired Up web page. I also screened
the second Fired Up episode in which Ms. Sullivan
appeared and will post additional information on this
episode whenever I get around to it. (Added March
5, 2000)
Taping for Talk to Me wrapped up late on Friday,
February 25, 2000. ABC has commissioned five episodes
of this sitcom, which stars Kyra Sedgwick as a radio
talk show host and also features Beverly D'Angelo and
Nicole Sullivan. The show will debut on April 11, 2000
at 9:30 PM EST/8:30 PM CST, after Dharma and Greg.
(Added March 5, 2000) ABC has announced an air
date for Talk to Me, a new sitcom
starring Kyra Sedgwick (Phenomenon)
and Nicole Sullivan. It will debut at on Tuesday,
April 11, 2000 at 9:30 PM EST (8:30 CST), replacing
Sports Night, which will wrap up its run
for the year on April 4. Presently there is no
information on how many episodes will air. The
show will have the advantage of a fairly strong
lead-in (currently, Dharma and Greg
airs at 9:00 PM EST on ABC, and the 8:00 PM time
slot is occupied by the mega-hit Who Wants To
Be a Millionaire - none of this, of course,
was much help to Sports Night). More
information on ABC's mid-season replacements can
be found at - where else -
the Fox News web site. Tickets may or may
not still be available for the February 25th taping
of Talk to Me in New York City (Queens);
for more information check the
Audiences Unlimited web site. (Added
February 20, 2000)
Also, Nicole Sullivan fans who are going to be
in the New York metropolitan area on February
11 or 18 (both Fridays) may want to attend the
taping of Talk to Me, an ABC sitcom
(featuring Kyra Sedgwick)
which is also Nicole Sullivan's newest sitcom
project. Tickets for both shows are still
available through
www.audiencesunlimited.com. February 18th
is also the last taping of the season. Taping takes
place at the Kaufman Astoria Studios in Astoria,
N.Y. (in Queens; the street address is 34-12 36th Street).
Fill out the form on the abovementioned site, and you
can attend one or both of these tapings.
The week of February 6th will feature several
Nicole Sullivan television appearances. Here is
a brief synopsis:
[* This episode was not in the
Fired
Up Episode Guide, either. Since the show
was pulled from NBC's lineup rather abruptly in
February 1998 (during February sweeps), I tend to
think that more episodes were taped than were aired,
and these episodes did not surface until the
show's run in syndication.]
[** Fans of Kids in the Hall may want to tune
in to Loveline on February 8 at 4:00
AM, since Dave Foley and Scott Thompson (two-fifths
of the cast) will be the guests (this is also
a rerun).]
[*** In most major markets, as far as I know.
Check local listings for airtime.]
As far as I know, the above is an exhaustive
listing of Nicole Sullivan's
TV appearances for the week of February 6th. If
you have any additional information, please
e-mail me.
(Added February 5, 2000)
I recently screened "The Baby-Sitter's Club,"
an episode of Fired Up in which Nicole
Sullivan guest-starred. More information on this
episode can be found in my
Nicole Sullivan on Fired Up page.
(Added February 5, 2000)
The episode of Fired Up (the short lived
Leah Remini series which aired from April 1997
to February 1998) in which Nicole Sullivan guest
starred will air on the USA Network on January
27, 2000 at 10:30 AM EST. The episode originally
aired on November 10, 1997 ("The Baby-Sitter's
Club"). Thanks to an astute fan for drawing my
attention to this Nicole Sullivan TV appearance.
(Added January 22, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan will appear as guest host on
the NBC late night talk show Later on
January 17 and 18, 2000 (late Monday night/early
Tuesday morning and late Tuesday night/early Wednesday
morning). These are reruns of two of the four installments
of the show in which Nicole Sullivan hosted back in
late November 1999. The lineups are as follows:
Air time for the program is 1:30 AM EST on most NBC
affiliates (after Conan O'Brien). In New York
City, the show airs at 1:35 AM. Check local listings.
For more information on these shows, see my
Nicole Sullivan Hosts
Later page.
(Added January 16, 2000)
Nicole Sullivan will appear on the NBC late night
talk show Later on January 6, 2000 (late
Thursday night/early Friday morning). Air
time for most affiliates is 1:30 AM EST on NBC
(after Conan O'Brien). This
is a rerun from September 1999 which originally
appeared the same week as the Mad TV
season premiere. Bonnie McFarlane
hosted this installment. For more information
on this show, see my
Nicole Sullivan on Later page.
(Added January 6, 2000)
I recently screened the episode of Loveline
in which Nicole Sullivan appeared (Alex Borstein and
Michael McDonald also appeared; original air date:
October 28, 1999). More details on this appearance
can be found on my
Nicole Sullivan on Loveline page.

This site is moving from is present location
at
http://www.nic.com/~dzien/nicolesullivan/ to
its new home at

"o" because Ms. Sullivan's agent has already gone
and reserved
www.nicolesullivan.org (and

.net).
This site will temporarily be mirrored at nic.com, but
eventually the mirror site will be discontinued -
www.nic0lesullivan.org is now the main site

(Added December 25, 1999)
In case you missed it when it aired in October
(and again in November), don't forget to watch
Loveline on Wednesday, December 29 at 12:30 AM,
1:30 AM and again at 2:30 AM. One of the three shows
is going to be a rebroadcast (at least I'm pretty sure)
of the show from late October featuring cast members
of Mad TV (including Nicole Sullivan).
(Added December 25, 1999)
Nicole Sullivan recently hosted the NBC late-night
talk show Later for a week. For more
information on these appearances, see my

The Party of Five episode in which Nicole
Sullivan guest starred will re-air on the Lifetime
Network on November 24 at 3:00 PM EST. Thanks to
an astute Nicole Sullivan fan for reminding me of
this. (Added November 21, 1999)
Nicole Sullivan will host the NBC late night
show Later the week of November 21,
1999. She will host the show four times
(the show airs Monday through Thursday). The
lineups for the four shows are as follows:
Later airs at 1:30 AM EST (12:30 AM Central)
on most NBC affiliates. In the New York City metro area,
the show airs at 1:36 AM EST on WNBC (channel 4). Check
your local listings for air time. (Added November
18, 1999)
Nicole Sullivan made a guest appearance on
the November 1, 1999 episode of Suddenly
Susan as Claire. I have no further information
on this episode right now. Ms. Sullivan
may also have been one of the cast members of
Mad TV to appear on the MTV program
Loveline on October 28, 1999.
(Added November 3, 1999)
The episode of The Drew Carey Show
in which Nicole Sullivan appeared (as Diane
Pulaski) was recently rebroadcast in syndication.
Further information on Ms. Sullivan's guest
appearance on this show can be found on my
Nicole Sullivan
on The Drew Carey Show page.
(Added October 22, 1999) Nicole Sullivan
appeared on NBC's late night talk show Later on
September 21. More information can be found on the
Nicole Sullivan on Later
page. (Added September 24, 1999) In case you
haven't figured it out yet, this web site was down for several
days because of flooding of the Rochelle Park AT&T office at
which Bell Atlantic operates a major hub. I'm not sure when
my ISP lost its Internet connection, but I logged my last hit
for this web site at 5:15 AM on Friday, September 17, so it
probably happened on Friday morning. I apologize for any
inconvenience that this outage may have caused (and will likely
take precautions in the future to ensure that there are adequate
fail-safe measures in place), but as is so often the case with
these outages, the fault is ultimately with a third party - in
this case, Bell Atlantic for being boneheaded enough to route
all T-1 traffic (as well as long distance service and cell phone
service) in one building. (Added September 19, 1999)
As the Fall 1999
season "officially" begins, here are some of the Nicole
Sullivan-related happenings to which we can look forward:
That covers the small screen. Now on to the movies: according
to the Internet Movie Database,
Nicole Sullivan appeared in a movie called Say You'll Be Mine.
The movie has already been screened at the Seattle International Film
Festival (SIFF) on June 5, 1999; I could find no further information as to whetheror not there will be a theatrical release. The movie is a romantic
comedy directed by Brad Kane and features (among others) Justine
Bateman as a chain-smoking divorce lawyer. The film has been
described by
one critic as another film about twentysomethings about
to turn thirty exploring relationships, in the tradition of
My Best Friends Wedding - and a pretty good one at
that. More information on this film can be found at the
Internet Movie
Database's entry for Say You'll Be Mine. No news
yet on if/when Bar Hopping will be released - unlike
Say You'll Be Mine, Bar Hopping is still in
post-production, according to the listings. (Added September
4, 1999)
In case you missed
it, Nicole Sullivan participated in MTV's first annual All Star
League Tournament. She finished second overall, and finished
in first place on the third day. She was in the lead for most of
the final day of the tournament, falling behind in the basketball
round (she failed to score a single point in this round). More
information about her participation in this event can be found
on my Nicole Sullivan
on MTV's All Star League page - this was thrown together
rather hastily, but hopefully in time I will be able to put
together a page that will do her justice, or at least one that
will be better than the one that exists now. (Added August 29,
1999) According to
the Celluloid
Jungle web site, production for Bar Hopping did not
start until December 1, 1998. Assuming that this information
is correct, Ms. Sullivan was not working on this movie
during her five-week absence from the show at the beginning
of the season. (Added July 3, 1999) Baby Blues,
an animated half-hour comedy series based on the nationally
syndicated comic strip, has been added to the WB's fall
lineup as a midseason replacement. You can read about it at
the official
WB-17 Online web site. The WB press release simply states
that "Nicole Sullivan (Mad TV)...provide[s] voices." According to
the official
Mad TV website, however, Ms. Sullivan will provide the voice
of the MacPherson's teenaged babysitter. (Added June 27,
1999) Nicole
Sullivan was quoted in a recent Los Angeles Times article
about Mad TV as having said that the cast of the
show are "treated like the bastard orphan children
of the network." Here's the full text of the article.(Added
May 11, 1999) Nicole
Sullivan appeared at the Big Stinkin' Comedy Festival in
Austin, Texas. The festival took place April 5-10, and
Ms. Sullivan was a member of Mad TV's delegation
to the festival (now in its fourth year). Other Mad TV
cast members appearing at the show included Alex
Borstein, Mo Collins, Phil LaMarr, Michael McDonald and
Will Sasso. The Mad TV show was scheduled for
April 9 (8:00 - 10:00 PM) at the Paramount Theater. The
festival also featured a Mad TV "Best of the
Best" sketches screening at the Dobie Theater
(undoubtedly with many sketches featuring Nicole
Sullivan). Many apologies for not finding out about this
sooner. You can find out more about the Big Stinkin'
Comedy Festival at the official Big Stinkin' Comedy
Festival web site.(Added April 17, 1999) Mad TV
apparently is on hiatus for the summer. There's still a
few more episodes to go, but they are done taping. (Added
March 16, 1999) I recently
screened the Diagnosis Murder episode in which
Nicole Sullivan appeared. There's not much to get excited
about here; she only appears very briefly in one scene.
Nevertheless, I have added a new page to this site
documenting Nicole Sullivan's appearance on Diagnosis
Murder. (Added March 16, 1999) A recent
check of the Internet Movie Database reveals that
Nicole Sullivan is indeed slated to appear in an upcoming
movie. She is listed as playing the role of Mara in the
upcoming Steve Cohen film, Bar Hopping. It is currently
listed as being in post-production (it's also slated for
release in 1999). I have no further news of Ms.
Sullivan's foray into the world of cinema. (Added
February 25, 1999) I sent
e-mail to the Politically Incorrect web site,
asking why Nicole Sullivan was not included in the panel
of the February 17th broadcast. According to the reply,
Ms. Sullivan had to cancel at the last minute and
"we hope to reschedule her for a future date." (Added
February 25, 1999) Readers of
TV Guide may have noticed an item in a recent
issue of the publication (the one with George Clooney on
the cover) about an alleged spat between Nicole Sullivan
and Aries Spears. Sullivan allegedly became so furious
with Spears that she said she would "never do a
scene with him again." The executive producer of Mad
TV claimed reports of the dispute were
"completely wrong." TV Guide claims its
inside source says the report is true but that Sullivan
and Spears are working together again. In case
you missed it, Nicole Sullivan was mentioned in TV
Guide's 50 Funniest TV Moments of All Time. Mad
TV's hilarious parody of the WB show Felicity
(dubbed "Intensity" in the parody) was ranked number
thirty-seven out of the fifty funniest moments. The staff
of TV Guide (or at least one person on the staff)
has deemed this segment worthy of mention on at least
three occassions. Diehard Nicole Sullivan fans will
undoubtedly be pleased at this accolade (inclusion on
list of television's 50 funniest moments; place in
history secure). The
premiere of the animated Baby Blues series has
been postponed to Fall 1999. This is a great
disappointment to all of us who were looking forward to
hearing Ms. Sullivan as the voice of the teenage
babysitter. You can read about this and other
developments at the Animated Baby Blues on WB
Network web page. In case
you didn't know, Nicole Sullivan and fellow Mad TV
cast member Phil LaMarr hosted a small party on Sunday,
December 6, 1998, in which 12 Billboard Music Awards were
handed out to winners. The party took place in the MGM
Grand Hotel's Studio 54, and was essentially a prelude to
the main ceremony on Sunday night. Nicole
Sullivan has rejoined the cast of Mad TV. In case
you missed it, her first appearance this season was in
MD-406, which aired on October 31, 1998. There has been
much speculation as to the reasons behind her five week
absence from the show, but the official word is that she
was playing a role in a movie.
You can't
get tickets for Talk
to Me (Nicole Sullivan's latest sitcom project)
anymore, but for the benefit of those who already
have tickets, here's a map of the area around
the Kaufman-Astoria Studios. Note that it's
off of Northern Boulevard.
Nicole Sullivan
appeared on an NBC special called World's Greatest
Magic which aired on November 25, 1998 from 8:00 to
10:00 PM (EST). Unfortunately, I missed this one (I
didn't find out she was scheduled to appear in it until
about half an hour after the show ended; I felt bad about
it but then again it took me awhile just to track down
the information; her involvement wasn't mentioned in the
TV Guide listings). So I have no further information
about this Nicole Sullivan sighting; I did, however, find
this cool picture of Ms. Sullivan with some guy called
Mac King.
